MAN'S OPINION
Bush's Bookend Dates
There are very few dates in history where people will ask "Where
were you when...". One such date is September 11, 2001 @
8:46 AM, when the 1st plane hit the World Trade Center. There
is now another : November 4, 2008 @ 11:00 PM EST. That was the
moment that all the major television networks pronounced Barack
Obama as the 44th President of the United States. And the world
partied like it's 1999. It was that moment when we found out which
America we lived in. Team Obama had been leading Team McCain (that
Geezer-Dingbat campaign sign is funny as heck, but I digress)
in every national poll. Yet Obama supporters were afraid of the
Bradley
Effect.

Why Obama Won
Not to take anything away from the campaign of Barack Obama, but
there were several other factors working in his favor this election
year. The current administration's approval
rating is pretty bad and when Sarah Palin bombed in 3 straight
interviews it did not help her campaign. Before you consider his
win a rout, remember that Barack Obama won the election by less
than 8 million votes. If half the population of New York City
had been dispursed differently across the country and had voted
for McCain-Palin the results could easily have been reversed.
Besides that, over 57 million people voted for McCain-Palin.

Signs of Blackness
You have all probably seen the footage of Jesse Jackson crying
the night Barack Obama became the next President of the United
States. I have mixed feelings about Jesse and his tears. It was
not that long ago that Jesse said that he wanted to castrate
Barack. That's some serious Haterade. Andrew Young said "Barack
was too young, lacked experience and that Bill Clinton probably
dated more Black women than Barack". That's Haterade
with extra sugar. Sure, that last line was said for a laugh, but
it's like saying you're wife is fat and ugly - for a laugh. And
we all know how Tavis
Smiley bashed Barack for months for not coming to his annual summit.

Bailouts
The latest industry to ask for a government handout is the big
3 auto companies. The CEOs came to Washington to ask for a handout
in private jets and without a recovery plan. They were basically
saying just give us some money. GM
has 300k employees and twice that in retirees. If we prop
them up now, what happens in 10 years when they come back for
more money and have 500k ees and 1.5 million retirees? There is
a point we have to say enough. If we don't have a viable domestic
car industry, well, we just don't have one. We don't have a viable
domestic television manufacturing industry, and we're doing fine.
No industry has a sovereign right to exist in the face
of fiscal mismanagement. Here are my suggestions on the
bailout. Like to hear it? Here it go:
